As some of you know, Christy and I have talked and dreamed about building an indoor pole vault facility for several years. Recently we were fortunate enough to have the grandparents of some of our vaulters donate a few acres that border our property for that very purpose.
We did it with the help of some incredible people! Sharon Delgado, our loan officer with Diamond Bank, is responsible for making this happen! She saw our vision and dove in with tons of enthusiasm, making the financial side of this project stress free. Our vault crew and their families pitched in and worked hard in the cold weather to help construct this massive building!
We had our first clinics in March and our "Grand Opening" meet May 24th of 2008.
