Lake Hamilton's Rachel "Dynamo" Bennett gets a long awaited PR with 10'10".  Teammate Stephanie Foreman breaks the 13 foot barrier for the third meet in a row with a winning jump of 13'00".

Conway vaulters, McKinley Rea (11'07") and Ryan Kotch (14'00") and Bryant's Ben Griffin (14'00") all take home new PR's.


7-AA West Jr. High Conference Championships May 6
Whitney Wilson (Mt. Ida 7th grader) wins title with 7'06" while Mt. Ida Freshman Andrew Irwin ties his PR to win & set a new MR in the boys division at 12'06".

Lake Hamiilton Girls go 1-2-3-4 with Stephanie Foreman 13'02.25" MR, Rachel Bennett 10'06", Kirby Newcomb 10'00", Aubrey Burroughs 10'00".  Lake Hamilton Boys make it 1-2-3 with Josh Bradley 14'00", David Rogers 13'06", Phillip Clamon 13'00".

6A State Championships
May 14
Lake Hamilton girls go 1-2-3-3 in the rain.  Stephanie Foreman set a new meet record with 13'00.5" while freshman Kirby Newcomb PR'd for 2nd place with 10'10".  Rachel Bennett and AuBrey Burroughs tied for 3rd with 10'6". Jonesboro's Elisabeth Edmonds cleared 10'00" for 5th.

Lake Hamilton boys go 1-2-3-5 in route to a 1st time EVER state championship.  Josh Bradley wins with 14'04".  Sam Ewing comes back from knee surgery 5 days ago to take 2nd with 14'4".  David Rogers goes 14'00" for third while Phillip Clamon takes 5th with 13'00".  Texarkana's Ron Burns cleared 13'00" for 4th.




7A State Championships
May 15
Conway's McKinley Rea wins the girls division with 11'04"

Bryant's Jason Pelletier takes first with 16'00".  Ethan Sandusky, Bentonville, PR's with 14'04" for 2nd place.  Conway's Ryan Kotch also jumps a PR to capture 3rd with 14'04", while Bryant's Ben Griffin ties his PR with a 4th place 14'00" effort.
